Going to see Dr. Congdon next month! Just learning about all this research now. I’ve always just been told that fibromyalgia doesn’t exist, that I’m drug seeking (have never ever asked for narcotics), I’m imagining my pain, and that my collection of ailments are all separate and entirely in my head and I need to buck up and get over it. Going sal-free, and HG to make guafenisin work sounds pretty extreme—but hot damn if it works I’ll happily do it. Thanks for the collection of info!

Question, do you know if mary kay purple eyeshadows are OK to use? And green?

    Thanks
    Jessi

Hi Jessi! I replied to your comment, not sure why it didn’t show up here… here it is again: Hi Jessi! You are going to LOVE her! She’s so amazing!!! So thankful that you are able to see her, you won’t regret it.

You can do this! It is alot to take in, but you’ll soon get used to the terminology and it will become just part of life for you too 🙂

Here;s the list of Mary Kay sal-free items: http://christinescozycorner.ca/mary-kay-salicylate-free-list/

As far as the blue dye issue, have a chat with Dr Congdon for her take on it. It’s a fairly new issue and everyone has different thoughts on it. You’re in good hands with her!

Hi Christine. I left you a message on your FB page. I wasn’t sure if that was current or not. I was wondering if we could set up a little time on the phone. I know it is asking a lot, but you have always been so knowledgable and did I mention kind before? I think I may have run into a major snag like you did on the protocol. In a nutshell I may have wasted16 months on the protocol. Long story. Anyway, I was hoping for your advice or guidance. Thanks. Kim Olson

Hi Kim! Yes, I replied to your email. I’m logging onto Facebook for a few minutes now, I’ll message you 🙂 And sorry to hear you are going through that, it’s SO hard to have that happen 🙁 <3

Hello my name is lisa ritchie and I live in a small town “thessalon” in Ontario…I am wondering where you buy your guaifensein from. is it in Canada. I found the fibro pharmacy that sells Guaifenesin NF 300mg

    • Christine says:

Hi Lisa! Yes! We have a Canadian Pharmacy in VIctoria BC! Estevan Pharmacy. Long Acting Pure Guaifenesin through Estevan Pharmacy, Victoria BC. Speak with Kyle. Phone number: 1 250 598 2517 He is very kind but will have a lot of questions, he will treat you like his own patient. He sells both LA and FA in many sizes 🙂 He does ask for a prescription, so keep that in mind.

Fibro Pharmacy is a good one too and the only other one we suggest people use. So good job doing your research! Have you read the book by Dr St Amand yet?

Hey Judith! So glad you are finding my site helpful! 🙂 Yes, there is alot of info to take in for sure! Have you read the book by Dr St Amand yet? I just give bits and pieces, he has such good stuff in that book!
Hang in there, the beginning is hard! WHat is your dose? Did you start with getting everything sal-free and 300mg twice a day? Are you using a symptom journal?
Yes, riding again is totally possible again one day! yay!! 😀
