Baby care items, breastfeeding and Salicylates

I know many people use their own products for their babies, and I totally get why! Have you looked at the ingredients in baby items? Like washes etc? They are mostly parabens!! MY adult washes are healthier than baby stuff! But that’s a whole other topic! Enough of my rant, on with the list! lol 😀

Here’s some ideas for caring for your baby and staying sal free:

Use your own sal free stuff on your baby.

Make your own sal free stuff for the baby:

Kandoo wipes still have have castor oil

  2. Topaz says:

Sorry but johnsons bedtime bath etc has lavender in it, which contains salicylates as does a lot of aveeno products which contain avocado, people need to do more research before suggesting things.

oh I love my aveeno lotion though! No avacado in there, totally fine for sals. But you are totally right! Everyone needs to check all their own products, read each ingredient to be sure it is sal safe 🙂

Thanks for the heads up on the Johnsons product, I will look into that and take it off my list if it’s got sals 🙂
