Berry Sauce (GF, SF, Low Carb)

So, I use this stuff on my Crepes and pancakes and even make desserts with it πŸ˜€

I figured it was about time I explain what I’m doing here πŸ™‚

EASY PEASY!

Put into pot:

1 Tbsp butter (melted on bottom first)

2 cups frozen berries (strawberries used in picture)

2 tsp sweetener (I use Xylitol)

2 tsp Maple or vanilla flavor

With lid on high till all is boiling. Mash (optional) and serve! Serve with Whipped Cream with my SF, GF, low carb dishes like Baked Crepe, Berry Omelet, and Pancakes in the place of syrup πŸ™‚

Tip: Try Blueberries instead of strawberries, just use 1 Tbsp lemon juice as well as above. Raspberries are delicious too, will need more sweetener though!Β Or, try adding a few raspberries to your Strawberries, that makes a beautiful flavor πŸ™‚

The trick is to NOT add a bunch of water, which you then have to thicken. The berries themselves will make a lovely thick sauce πŸ™‚

    I’m not sure where you’re getting your information, but it’s troubling. Blueberries and strawberries are extremely high in salicylates.

      sorry about the confusion Marcus! None of my recipes are Salicylate Free. the SF is for Sugar Free! the sal-free stuff that I am watching for is just in topical stuff and concentrated sals like in herbal treatments. πŸ™‚ Check out the About page for more info on my website here!
