Oh FINALLY I got a picture of this yummy little snack!! I usually don’t have pictures of these because we eat them too fast! LOL 😀 I was gonna wait till I had pictures to share this simple recipe with you, but you could be waiting a very long time and you NEED to know how to do these!!
You are gonna LOVE this little snack, it’s so easy! You don’t even have to grate the cheese!!
So, cut some slices of cheese into squares, maybe 1 inch ish.
Place on baking paper (parchment paper) lined cookie sheet.
Leave plain or sprinkle some ranch seasoning or basil or parmesan cheese on them (do NOT add salt, they are plently salty enough!)
Bake in 350 oven for 12 -13 minutes till they are golden brown, let cool for 1-2 minutes and then devour! YUMM!
The ones in the picture are mozza, and I baked another 3 mins, but watch carefully so they don’t burn. The softer your cheese, the longer they bake because there is more water to bake out of them. The only thing to NOT use is the LIGHT cheeses. They don’t work for some reason! Weird!
If your cheese comes out burnt or still chewy, adjust the temp or change the size of your cheese slices. I found the smallest slices were the crispiest 🙂
Serve with salsa (for liberal HG Diet) and sour cream! YUMM!
btw- you will get some oil on your pan, so put the crisps on some paper towel like you do with bacon before serving
