glycerinGlycerin is such a fabulous simple ingredient that makes products feel so much better on the skin. It draws moisture from the air and product, onto your skin to hydrate and replenish lost moisture. It is naturally found in homemade soaps, and is extracted from commercial soaps to sell separately for it’s awesome properties!

I use Glycerin in all my products 🙂

Christine, where would I find Glycerin in the store ?? Thanks much !

  2. Kathi says:

So “vegetable” glycerin is ok to use? What about vegetable glycerin and vegetable magnesium sulfate in vitamins an supplements? I also get confused when a product says fragrance. Is it ok to use?

    • Christine says:

Hi Kathi! Yes, glycerin is fine, it is a chemical taken FROM the vegetables. They put the word vegetable in there so it will sound more healthy and natural, since that is the kick these days 🙂 sulfate is a chemical. Fragrance in products are fine. I stay away from lavender fragrance because I know that Lavender essential oils are cheaper than the chemically made ones, so often they will use the eo’s. Keep asking, you’ll get it all figured out 🙂
