My hubby and I BOTH have fibromyalgia. go figure.

Yep, it’s true, my hubby and I BOTH have Fibromyalgia. a hem. Yep, we fight over who is MORE tired. lol!

It’s kinda funny how we fight for each others sympathies.

We BOTH love to sit and watch TV every night when we’re too exhausted to do anything else. Thankfully! Every now and then I will have more energy than hubby, and I’m always so SHOCKED at how ungracious I can be about it! 😛 One would think that since I totally GET IT, been there, bought the t-shirt, I would be very patient and happy to relax and do nothing with him. Heh. Ya, I still have some learning to do.

Grace, self-lessness and patience are required from ALL of us. No matter the situation. I can guarantee you, even if you married someone who is ill and you aren’t, THEY still have to be patient with YOU.

I often wonder if it’s just one of the many ways God grows us up into kinder, more gracious people. People who can reflect HIS image.

The important thing is to be teachable, to grow. Not to dig our heels in and stubbornly refuse to change or give. And I am here to tell you that I am the most guilty of this than them all! Ask hubby! ha! or my mom! LOL 😀 Yes stubborn, but not too bright about it. hehe!

How would one find out about having FM? is there alreaddy a test or is it still all with symptoms?

  2. Sorry about it but I think you do have a great attitude to it. God will always give you strength in your weakness and so you know, I am not always nice to my husband. Especially when I am tired, but I am learning…
Do have a super blessed week!

oh yes, we are ALL learning! When we are tired, we tend to forget about the needs of others because our needs scream so loudly at us. As we look to our Lord Jesus, He will give us the ability to see beyond ourselves. Bless you too!! <3

  3. Hello, happened on your blog. How common is it that both spouses have fibromyalgia? I’m starting to wonder if they’re putting something in the water or air to make people sick. You never heard of people being sick with weird stuff like Fibro or AS. Our son has AS, Ankylosing spondylitis. He’s 100% disabled. These autoimmune diseases suck.

    • Christine says:

Hi Linda! I dont know how common that both spouses have fibro! But I see it often. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that when we are sick, we are more gracious with someone else who’s sick?
You are so right, these autoimmune diseases do totally suck! Sorry about your son, how awful for you and for him! Is there a treatment for AS?
I am so so thankful that there is a treatment for fibro!
