You are going to fall in love with this easy and delicious pork chop recipe! It’s my new favorite, I love how nice the sauce turns out, and with NO flour or other carb thickener! Yay for my Carb Intolerant/ HG diet!
Melt on high 1 tsp butter
Brown 4 pork chops on each side on high
Sprinkle on each side approx:
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder and garlic powder
1 tsp Rosemary and/or Tarragon Leaves (dried)
1 pinch sweetener (Xylitol or Splenda)
Once you’ve sufficiently browned each side, pour in heavy cream or un-whipped Whipping cream 1 cup (ish- enough to almost cover chops)
Put lid on and turn to low, simmer covered for 15 mins.
Flip chops over, turn to med-low, simmer uncovered another 15 mins.
That’s it! you’re done! serve with steamed veggies like carrots or broccoli, and make up some Riced Cauliflower to go with the sauce! the sauce is delicious and pork chops turn out so moist and yummy!
Tip: if for some reason your sauce is not thick, take out pork and turn pan to high for about 1 min, that should thicken it up nicely 🙂
Tip: these work out to be a fabulous lunch meat so make extra. My hubby loves them cold even 🙂
