Tomorrow is Fibromyalgia Awareness day!

fibromanicDid you know that tomorrow is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day? Well, it’s so important because WAY more people have fibro than you know. And the saddest part is all those who are just told that the pain and fatigue, etc are all in their heads.

We need more awareness so people can be more supportive and kind with the people they know who have it.

I have fibromyalgia and I’m not ashamed to say so. It is a really difficult disease to have. And I want to share why in the hopes that you can share this with someone you know, or everyone you know!

Book by Dr St Amand on fibro! One of the hardest things about fibro is that it’s invisible. You don’t have a huge hole in your head for everyone to see and feel sorry for you. You take a shower, change out of your sweatpants that you pretty much live in, put your makeup on, paste a smile on your face and attack your to-do list. 30 mins later, you crash on the couch for the rest of the day.

Lol, that is one of the harder cases and certainly was me only a few years ago. Now I have enough energy to do a few hours of work everyday and I don’t pay for it later πŸ™‚ Thanks to the Guaifenesin Protocol and this book I am showing. πŸ™‚

Just remember this when someone admits they have fibro:

It was HARD for them to admit because of how many times people have scoffed at them for having a disease they believe is all in their head.

They don’t expect you to understand. They DO expect your understanding and grace. Esp if they have forgotten something… again.

They are trying their hardest to LOOK healthy, no matter how rotten they feel.

They will often totally forget what you’ve talked about. Within minutes. Or even mid-sentence.

So! That said! Take this opportunity to show someone you love them. That you care no matter how well they remember things that are important to you. Bring them a meal or offer to clean their bathroom or kitchen! BEST. GIFT. EVER! <3

So, this Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, share some info with your friends and family. Share, Post, Tweet, etc! Show your support and make a difference!

Hi Margie! Thank you! πŸ™‚ Yep, today has been pretty good! I have some good days right now with this clearing cycle! SO awesome!! πŸ™‚
      How has your day been?

Hi Christine, I was wondering if your cycles are as bad, if not worse, than flares used to be? Since being on the Guai protocol for 2 months I have gone through two cycles of hurting more then I ever did pre-Guai. It involves water retention, flu feelings & nausea too. I’m not under the care of any Guai doctors because I live in Australia where there are none. Using St Amand’s book as guidance and I refer to your information here to help me.

Thank you sooooo much for an amazing blog! All of the tips and your documented experience – people like me can’t thank you enough. I feel less isolated in this horrible illness. Also Andrea’s skincare is great. Her products are much better than other Sal-free ones on the market that I tried first before coming across your site

Hi Kendall!! Thanks so much for the encouragement, i love to hear from my readers and find out how you are all doing! <3 And I try really hard to make my blog easy to read, and easy to navigate, so if you have any tips on improving that, please let me know! I totally know what it feels like to be overwhelmed and confused by all the info out there. <3

I LOVE Andrea Rose stuff too, totally amazing! Her Shampoo and face cream are beautiful!

OK, so when you start to cycle out the phosphate, you are going to feel as worse as your fibro flares used to be. It's not fun, but at least now you can keep reminding yourself that it's pain with purpose- GOOD purpose instead of bad, like it used to be! <3 Are you in my Fibro Buddies Facebook group yet? You will find many people in the same place as you. Here's the link to that:

2 months in is a big deal! did you start at 300mg twice a day for a week? What are you taking now and what kind of guai? Do you have a mapper in Australia? Are you part of Leanda’s group? Here’s a link to contact her: we have a bunch of people from Australia in our Facebook group, you mind even find someone close to you!! πŸ™‚

Hope that helps! And good to hear from you πŸ™‚
